Mr. Barry Lavin has over 25 years of international mining experience and been involved in some of the world’s largest and most successful mining operations. a mining engineer he commenced his career in line management in deep underground gold mining. He spent 18 years with the Rio Tinto Group until 2009, where he held senior positions, including Managing Director of the Northparkes Joint Venture, Managing Director of Technical Services and General Manager of Iron Ore Business Development. Barry was a Director of Oz Minerals Limited until March 2013 and currently is Managing Director of privately owned companies Teviot Resources Pty Ltd, an Australian diversified junior mining company.


Chairman – Mr. David Faktor

Mr. David Faktor former Group Managing Director at Stemcor, has had over 30 years of experience in the field of steel trading. He started his career in the 1980’s, has worked in Iran and India, and then went on to head Stemcor South East Asia. He returned to London as managing director of Stemcor UK Limited and was responsible for the Group’s trading activities in the Far East, South Asia, Northern Africa, the Middle East, South America, the Caribbean and the CIS. He has been responsible for Stemcor’s rapid global growth and has investments in the steel and mining sector, in various parts of the globe on behalf of Stemcor. He was a member on Stemcor’s Board.


Executive Director - Mr. Zulfi Khan

Mr. Zulfi Khan is an ex-risk management specialist with JP Morgan. He is also a founding member of Red Ribbon Asset Management Plc., a UK based impact investment company developing projects in the Construction, Hospitality and Energy sectors in Emerging Markets. Seeks to generate a measurable, beneficial social impact alongside strong financial returns. The opportunity to help address the challenges of the chronic power situation in Pakistan and in turn help boost the local economy is one that he relishes. Zulfi also devotes some of his time to social and charitable causes.


Chief Operations Director – Mr. Imran Haider

Mr. Imran Haider, former CEO and Managing Director of AHG and AKZ Trading LLC, specialists in metals trading. previously employed as an export manager for SAE BANG, South Korea, a raw materials manufacturing company. Imran brings a wealth of operational and country wide experience and is responsible for the implementation of business guidelines and strategies. Imran is the primary focal point for all business related activities for the group in Pakistan.


Chief Project Officer - Brigadier Mohammad Yousaf

Chief Project Officer - Brigadier Mohammad Yousaf's meritorious career of 32 years as a commissioned Officer in the Pakistan Army has involved key appointments in command, staff, intelligence and instructional assignments throughout the country as well as Internationally. As Director of Joint Warfare at Joint Staff Headquarters, the Brigadier was the lead for the planning and co-ordination of Military Exercises (Pakistani Army, Navy & Airforce) and all major interactions with the foreign nations inland and abroad. Brigadier is responsible for Investor Relations and assists with additional local facilitation. Brigadier holds an MA/MSc in Management & Strategic Studies from International University of Amman, Jordan. Brigadier speaks 5 languages including English, Arabic and French and has been awarded the following highest honours.
